Fort Bend Future (FBF), is comprised of a technology advisory council where the business and education communities collaborate to cultivate, attract, and retain a tech-savvy workforce.
The FBF serves as resource to advocate, educate and support this effort. As the epicenter of growth and development for businesses and communities, Fort Bend is one of the fastest growing counties in the nation, a pro-business region with a population over 740,000 encompassing seventeen cities and villages, each with its own unique flavor and characteristics offering a lifestyle with exceptional amenities.
The FBF is inspired by individual initiative, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the strength of our diversity – all necessary components to make our county the hub of innovation for the next century! Centered on the innovative technology sectors that exist in Fort Bend County as well as the University of Houston College of Technology and Texas State Technical College, this initiative is primed to soar into the future! This unified effort will create a destination for technology and innovation with a strong focus on a prosperous future for Fort Bend.
Fort Bend County maintains a responsible tax rate that encourages development and creates jobs. Combined with no state income tax and a lower than average cost of living, Fort Bend County is a desirable location for business development.
Fort Bend County's comprehensive infrastructure, from municipal utility and levee improvement districts to highway system and rail services that supports a county growing at exponential rates, is the precursor to growth that is both sustainable and impactful.
Fort Bend Future is an initiative of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is The Advocate for Business Excellence in Fort Bend.
